The art of Scroll Sawing dates back to merry old England, where people used a foot powered saw. I use a
Dewalt, variable speed Scroll Saw. I glue a pattern to the selected piece of wood, then carefully drill holes
in the project in order to thread the 1/16" thick (sometimes less) blade through.
I cut out the pattern and remove the waste to reveal beautiful plaques and pictures. Some of my work is
simple - requiring only a few cuts here and there. Some of my pieces can require as many as several
hundred cuts. Once cut out, I finish, sand and apply a suitable and lasting finish; and sometimes add a
backing of felt or plexiglas.

*Please take a look at some of my Scroll Sawing and let us know what you think. If you want to order one
of the pieces please
contact us.
