Turning wood to create vases, lidded vessels and urns dates back to Ancient Egypt. By hand, one person
would turn the wood while another applied a tool to the wood to form a shape.
I use a Delta and a Jet variable speed Lathe to create the forms I make. I turn mostly found wood -
going from log to finished piece in just a few short hours; adding a finish, sometime of polyurethane, when
I am done.

*Please take a look at some of the Turnings and let us know what you think. If you want to order one of
the pieces please
contact us.
                                                                                                                 Thanks,
                                                                                                                        Erik
